Simply Sustainable, Simply Shrimp

The Damhof family of Blomkest, MN retired from the dairy business after 50 years of milking cows. They didn’t retire from raising livestock completely. Today, instead of Holstein dairy cows filling the barn, there are thousands of Pacific white shrimp being raised in what was once a calving barn.

After researching the idea in 2016 Paul decided to begin this new adventure in Shrimp Farming. While the “animals” changed, the Damhof’s dedication to providing the best possible product has not.
Paul set out (and still does) to sell “MN farm grown 100% hormone and antibiotic free” shrimp to the public. Simply Shrimp are all natural, NEVER frozen and the freshest shrimp you will find in MN.
